Being Farbon Kyber Expert for a job, ( honestly ! ) we tart up our demo samples wi black shoe polish  :hello2:  Most cosmetic stuff like Cans and Fairing n bits o shit you bikey types buy usually have a UV inhibitor in the resin system, but it dun't help for long.  Best thing to do is Paint it wi Black Enamel  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

The carbon effect eld chum isn't an   "effect"   its a structural material ! You won't rub it off   [wall]..... a typical 2-2 twill 6k woven fabric at 38% v'f  and with Tg of

around 90 deg's C will be about 0.25mm per ply.  What you will do is remove the surface resin ( the glossy bit ) which will leave it Matt.  Hence the shoe polish, if

you have removed the surface couple o thou,  shoe polish should still work .   Unless of course you're under 45 in which case you have probably never heard of

shoe polish .....  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

NB this does of course pre-suppose your Cans arn't cover in carbon "effect"  fablon !!!!  [rofl]

Didn't realise you could " flat " off the surface resin and stand ANY chance of it looking any good afterwards  :dontknow:

Being a complete DIY " nobber " I think I would leave it well alone ( or buy a different one  [whistle] )
