There was a bird killed the other week on gixerjunkies, not sure of the full details - found the thread...

"...Extract from the News

The Barnby Bends A146 was closed after a female motorcyclist from Norfolk died in a collision with a lorry.

The 24-year-old bikerider died on June 1st. The accident happened on the notorious Barnby Bends, between Lowestoft and Beccles A lorry driver was treated in hospital for shock but was not injured. The road was closed until 3.45pm..."

Hope for a speedy recovery ..... seems that now the season is here there are alot of off's..... and they all seem to be zx10r's  :cry:

i think its just seems to be the 10's where hearing about mate,

there will be a lot more out there im sure. :-(

just found this update on the MCN site.thankfully it looks like he's going to be ok  :occasion14:

Hey all Marks son here (jason) went and saw him today he has a shattered ankle which has to be operated on fractured arm which also needs operating on and has a broken hip hes not him self at the moment bit shaken pretty bruised and battered complaing his neck and back hurts so they need to be checked but hes awake and talking the doctors said if he didnt have his leathers on he would of been dead which is a worrying thought but yeh hes on a road to recovery cheers all

Sounds awful, feel sorry for him, but at least he's still hear to tell the story. bikes can be replaced, unfortunately people can't.  speedy recovery dude!

Be safe out there peeps, this kind of news certainly makes you think about how you go about.
