I find i think about crashing a lot more than i used to.......i'm 33 now and I guess it's just a factor of getting older.....I had some really hairy moments in my early 20's and learning to ride bikes and didn't think twice about them.......
Anyway........just stop crashing!!!

Jim, Its when you stop thinking about crashing that you need to worry. We all know the risks and we all worry about them.
fossil:
Sometimes I wake up in the night and everything seems more exagerated in my head - if I think about a problem at work then it is worse, if I think about big tits then they are bigger, but if I think about crashing the bike then I almost decide 'there and then' to give up bikes - nearly always wake up next morning looking forward to getting back on though.
Strange thing your head - it must be because common sense would tell us all there are better ways to get your kicks than taking blind corners at speed but we all go ahead and do it. :?:

sad to see your ride on it's side horsey.....last time i went thru the bonnet i broke left and right solders and a week in the hospital...nice to see you walk away but i would have given the guy a good scud right upside his heed for pulling out like that

We had chatted and he had made sure I was ok, he was backing up to clear the road and I was going to collect bike.

Phew, thought it was only me that thought that way.
Was out with a couple mates yesterday, far more experienced then myself. Anyway was following them up a straight national speed limit road when I could see infront a Corsa pull up to the junction and ALMOST stop.
It was absolutely dead slow, looking at the driver he was talking to his passenger. I`ve eased off but my mates were still pushing.
The ineveitable happened and the car started to move forward AS the driver then looked right. My two mates swerved big time and missed him................just [clap]
The driver then put his hand up to me and mouthed "sorry"
Further down the road we stopped and the two of them were curseing the driver. "Did you not notice the car had not quiet stopped" and "that he had`ent even looked to the right?"
"But it`s our right of way" (GIVE ME STRENGH) They then said that cos Iam a Driving Instructor thats why I see things like that
They both felt that since they are on the major road they have right of way. There is no such thing as right of way, only priority, and that has to be given, not TAKEN.
Sorry like I sound like I belong in a pulpit.
Hope all are recovering well and the bikes are sorted.
