The fork bottoms (axle carriers) can be removed if you want them pc'd black too. There's a staked allen screw that has to be drilled out and then heat is applied to break the locking compound and the leg can be unscrewed. Good time to strip your forks, clean out all the shit std fluid and then refill em with quality stuff
