Checking in!
« on: June 09, 2007, 09:34:21 PM »

Hi everyone
First off apologies for not doing this before i posted a notice on the site, ooops!  My name is Mike and i have been a lifelong kawasaki nut , owning all sorts from a kh125 (which i passed my test on) to the awesome zx10r.  Having owned many other bikes through the years such as z750's and one of my favourites a zxr750h1 which i now wish i kept.  I am not a spring chicken anymore (just turned 40), but i try not to let it slow me down too much.  My bike is a 2005 zx10r which has an arrow pipe, powercommander and has been set up at dynojet uk, giving 161bhp at the wheel.  I love to do track days, especially now the roads are infested with radar, unmarked cop cars and cameras.  I think that i will be keeping the 10 for a long while, i have never known such acceleration and the handling aint too bad either for a litre bike!  I am lucky in that my wife is very pro biking and she rides a sv650, she even likes motogp!  I have 2 kids, the oldest of which is a complete minimoto nut, being far better at it than i ever will.

Nice to hear from other 10 riders in the wilts area, i work down near amesbury - its a small world!  Although i wont be doing any trackdays for a while, as i broke me leg (tib and fib) falling off a minimoto 5 weeks ago.   Think i will stick to big bikes in future!  Hopefull of riding after xrays in two weeks time, but dont teell the doc!
