Nah it was fine from stock,  there's too much high-speed compression damping in the forks as std, this would cause to odd front end "chirrup" when the front wheel locked under really hard braking on the track. The rear spring is a bit soft too so i fitted a stiffer  earlyr6 one. Zeno did a load of internal mods both ends, changed the shim-stacks and damping pistons.

This may be a little out of place here, but i had a go on an 06 Superduke and was really really impressed.  It is a hooligan bike and makes you drive like a hooligan.   I would love one for around town or for the twisty coast road, but would not like long distances due to the lack of wind protection.

Handling  is superb, it has WP sussi all round.
Brembo Brakes and braded hoses as standard - Amazing.
Power.  Great grunt out of the 998 Twin.  Lacks a bit at speed due to the no fairing.

If i could have one and the 10 then i would, but it was a choice so....  10 it is :headbang:

I think if it wasn't the 10 for me then I would probably take a look at the new Aprilia Mille - same characteristics as the KTM by the sounds of it but with the ability to maintain speeds for longer and also gets aplenty of bling as standard [pray] . Had a naked bike for a while and it is a nightmare over 100mph ! ( mind you , I do only weight the same as a Rizla paper )  [rofl] [rofl]

a friend of mine has a superduke and it goes like stink !  If I was to chenge the 10 (which I am NOT doing) I'd opt for a Tuono or a Superduke for sure.

I think it would be good to keep speed down and cans till be loads of fun  :icon_thumright:

Speeds only come down on the motorway ( which is no bloody fun anyway  [wall] )
Speeds on naked sports derived bikes tend to go UP on the A and B roads

a good point simple, maybe I'm starting to like them as they are more comfortable for us old folks  [whistle]   [rofl]

I had a Bandit 12 before the 10R and as much as it was comfortable I just couldn't get used to sitting flat on my arse on a bike , it was less comfy than the 10 which I know sounds a bit weird but it's true  :icon_thumright:

Hey, my son gets a tuono on Saturday ....................................... (a 125  [rofl] )
