Swarfega and a toothbrush !!

I decided that the bike was looking a bit on the mucky side (for me) and I wasn't sure how much field they'd got out of the nooks and crannies, so have spent 6 hours or so over the last few days removing panels and cleaning it up.

Used a toothbrush and swarfega for the oily bits, which works really well.

Once the oily bits were cleaned, I gave them a good going over with ACF-50 and replaced the panels. Chain was thoroughly cleaned and re-waxed............I'd fogotten what the chain originally looked like.

Looking a lot better now................nearly as clean as when it rolled off the production line in Japan !

i use gunk for the oily bits, never thought of swarfega :icon_scratch:

whos the little bloke in the yellow helmet peeping over the fence?  :lol:

Wow ! hard to believe that's the same bike that was in the crash photos a few days ago- well done that man !

Now you'd better get the toothbrush back to the bathroom before the wife needs it before she goes to bed...    [whistle]

Never thought of using an electric toothbrush............................good idea though.........................for the bike, not the wife !!!

Don't think a rabbit would work as well .................. on the bike !!!!
