Hi-Jacking
« on: May 30, 2007, 10:46:09 PM »

Is there not one topic thread that doesn't get Hi-jacked by someone changing the topic of discussion. Not complaining just amused. [rofl]

I am not sure it bothers me if the general chit chat topics get hi jack... Like the I am bored one....you weren't really asking for information so didn't really get hi jack as such...... But then if you ask about exhaust and it got hi jacked talking about something else then I would intervene ... but I try to keep it relaxed here and to not make it like its right wing you do as I say etc etc it your forum as much as its mine.... we make it together and keeping the crappy spam members out and the pointless post at bay is a full time job..... and this forum is evidence that th is a great place to come on  :icon_thumright:

Thanks mate!

In all seriousmess though, I'm an administrator on the GTR Register site and this is something which we do stamp down on quite a lot depending upon the nature of the original thread. Thread crapping isn't welcomed but banter normally is. The main threads we watch are for sale threads where everybody's got an opinion about how much something is or isn't worth and we did have a spate of religious and political threads which almost always ended in somebody throwing their toys out... It's a difficult choice sometimes knowing whether to step in or not, you can't keep all the people happy all the time..
