MOSUL
(1/1)
michael4012:
Mosul on Netflix, i thought it was excellent not just in realistic action but also at bringing the reality of and the cost of civil wars to family's and communities into an action film. The complex compassions of the many factions in that conflict is mesmerising. If you don't understand what happened in Iraq after the occupation you really need to pay attention to the script at the beginning, and get over the subtitles quickly, this is possibly the best film i have seen all year.

I'll have a look out for this :icon_thumright:
Saw the BBC documentary earlier on this year - Once Upon a Time in Iraq - that was very good.
