Hello
« on: April 18, 2017, 02:36:52 PM »

Not new around here, been browsing the forums on and off since I purchased my 05 ZX10R race bike a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I broke my C1cervical vertabrae in a big off at Brno last year, survived death/paralysis by literally millimetres. This was 10 months ago and I have decided to part my bike out to try and re-coup some of my losses. I'll get another bike when I feel ready but this year and possibly next are likely to be bike-less.
I've listed certain things on ebay but would rather sell bits to like minded souls through forums. If anybody needs anything drop me a bell.

Sure I will mate, been riding for nearly 30 years on the roads and a good 15 years of track riding. Just rang my bell good and proper this time, just need to wait till I'm fully healed and strong again.

I ended up paying £40 for one, wouldn't mind another as a spare with my wets on wheels though

Ah crappola, I'd have let you have mine for £20, I had no idea that's how much people are asking for them !!
I've got a shed full of stuff I need to move on, if only so I can tidy it out. I've still got a blue-printed engine that snapped a valve off, the frame/swing-arm/yokes etc with V5 and all manner of other things.
I also have a pair of wheels which both have a slight bend in the rim. I'm in two mind whether to get them straightened and then sell them on or just sell them as is with the discs/carriers and captive spacers and see what I can get for them. They both had gravel wedged between the tyre and rim, I'm not sure if this was enough to distort them?

I'll have your spindle and captive spacers to go with my wets?

Wheels only tend to go for £300 a pair these days so might not be worth straightening unless you can get it done cheap enough?
