Hello from Scotland
« on: March 21, 2017, 08:40:31 PM »

Evening all, I have just recently bought 3 04 ZX10, all old race bikes. I plan on keeping one of the Superbikes for myself and selling on the other one as well as the Superstocker. I collect old Kawasaki race bikes but this is my first fuel injected bike as the rest are all carbs. I had the Superstocker at the dyno today but it wouldn't let me restart it after a run. Fuel pump runs but the starter motor won't turn over. Have a feed to the relay box but nothing coming out of it. Downloaded the manual so off to the garage for an evening with a multimeter.

Had a couple of 7s before. I prefer the earlier ones, have an H1, some Ks and Ms as well, all original old race bikes. Also have a load of Supersport 600 bikes as well.
The start problem was the immobiliser at the front. The wiring had not been done very well but all sorted now. The other superbike is not a runner so need to get into that next. It has a flashing PGM light on it. The stocker was 153bhp at the rear wheel with a very dirty strainer and old fuel so will have another go tomorrow. They all have Meyhew motors with Nova boxes in.
