R1M caliper conversion

Just fitted brand new r1m calipers with standard pads.
You need to remove the alloy shims from the forks then to get them 100% you need to fit 1.3mm spacers under them. They will work without but i wanted them to match 100% with my discs.
I havnt fitted braided lines yet as i was just testing the setup.

Bloke selling them for 299 ono on ebay so not cheap but i like them

I reckon 299 is cheap I paid 200 for 2010 ZZR1400 calipers so I reckon that's a good price for the upgrade  :occasion14:

And considering the price of used brembo calipers that's a bargain.

They come with pads too which is why i went for them over brembos. Pads are same as old r1s in shape and size.
Brembos on ebay for 300 without pads.

 update.
On track the brakes were the best ive ever used.
Absolutely zero fade for the first time in my life!
Even on standard pads.
They didnt throw pistons back when i was having head shakes and seemed to egg me on to brake later.
