new and old zx10r
« on: May 19, 2016, 07:03:46 PM »

Hi

Here some pics of my zx10r's, in winter I renewed brakediscs, brakelines, and fitted a radial brakepump of the first gen, feel is much better now...the noises have gone down dramatically after servicing was done, costs high, but worth it.....I am a happy chappy!
New one feels better in low and midrange, I think because it revs much faster than the 2014 model...also much better,

Cheers, Tom.

Odd. Coz i couldnt wait to get back on my gen4 after trying a gen5 on the road. They seem gutless until it hits high revs. Then they racey as hell in the top end. I personally prefer the gen1 over the gen 4 or 5 when it comes to road riding.

Hi
I still prefer the gen1, but I found the gen5 was better than the gen4, not because it has more power in the low and mid, it just revs much more willingly.....
Tom.
