what bike shall i get?

Sold my gen1 zx10r so now on lookout for a newer bike. Aprox 2010 reg.
Please advise. Like servicing. Running costs etc..
I ride track and road.
My options are;
Gen 4 zx10r.Great bike. Easy to get spares. Simple bike.
Or
Bmw s1000rr. Fast. But maybe expensive  if it needs work.
Or
Aprilia rsv4. On looks alone this would win hands down. But worried about high first gear and avaiability of spares.
Or
Fireblade. Nice bike. Nothing to get excited about maybe?

Depends on budget though - obviously the newer the better UNLESS you want something a bit tasty.
Most mods don't add any value despite what most say even with all the original parts.
Its only when you start getting to really trick unobtanium stuff like the Ohlins FGR's, Factory swingarms, engines, etc.
Have a think about what you want and take into account the cost of parts, servicing, etc too.
You REALLY don't want to know the price of BMW oe stuff and Aprillia supply chain still are as good as they could be.
Ask nicely I might sell mine  :tongue3:

I dont know the servicing schedule or costs of these bikes that why im asking.
Where do i find all that info out?
Ps what bike you got?

The RSV4 is woeful on servicing - ask Silky!
The BMW is pretty good but parts are mega bucks as are all BM's.
