Oulton Park Track Day
« on: August 27, 2015, 06:06:15 PM »

Just some of the pictures I got from my No Limits track day yesterday. I have mainly done MSV track days this year and their photography is expensive and pretty poor quality compared to the images I got from yesterday.

It was a great day, the 1st session the track was wet but it dried out very quickly and by the third session the track was bone dry. The bike ran faultlessly, the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa's were fantastic and I managed to put some decent laps together. The only negative was the gearing is still a little tall (2 up on the rear,) I only used the first three gears, but it is primarily a road bike so i'll live with it for now.

Bike looks good and looks like a great day.

Just out of interest what pressures did you run the Rosso Corsa on track ?

I had the pressures set by the tyre support people on the day and they put 29psi rear and 32psi front and it felt fine. I had no tyre issues at all.

Cracking bike , I always had to change the gearing on my race bike here , I actually had my first fast group outing at oulton and my first time on my race bike there back in 2007 , loved the track , was my first real taste of a track that wasn't completely flat
