Number plate legislation, trying to be legal!

It is the font, stroke, spacing and border that is the requirement - NOT the size of the plate.
My 5 character plate is bang on legal size for what is on there but doesnt conform because of the lack of postcode.
HOWEVER it has been on there since before the regs changed about the makers postcode so technically is perfectly legal.
