I I have NO GEAR and SOME IDEA where do I go 

Now that's a dangerous combination, not sure which direction you should go with that 

I get the impression that the most useful " tool " in my garage is ME 

I know I'm the biggest tool in my garage

Hmmm one can never have too many tools unless one doesn't actually have a garage....  I'm so happy now tho folks cuz I feel normal once again (I know I'm not actually normal but I can delude myself for an hour  )
