Track day prep.
« on: March 05, 2015, 12:40:54 PM »

just a ferw pics of the bike prepped for Snetterton on Sunday, just need to remove the number plate and tape up the brake light.
I've fitted mirror blanks, crash bungs, an exhaust slider and i'm waiting for a set of GB racing engine covers to arrive. Just in case LOL.

Thanks guys. GB Racing engine covers now fitted, tail tidy removed and all the lights taped up. Weather is looking good for the weekend. Only slight concern is the OE Bridgestones, I'm not that keen on them (front feels pretty vague sometimes) and the rear is pretty squared off and low in the middle (let's hope I can even out the wear a bit). I have a new rear to take with me just in case but I can't wait to get some Pirelli Super Corsa's or Michelins fitted.

Got on great, it took a couple of sessions to work out the track but after that it was all good. The bike performed well after a couple of suspension tweaks and it didn't miss a beat all day but i have to look at the gearing before the next track day, I barely got out of 3rd gear, just managed to nip it into 4th on the back straight (indicated 165mph).
