no surprises there for the fekking cash machines............ I saw the drone thing on the local news this morning too

you should see how many there are on the A51 to Mallory Park  once you get 50 miles from the Wirral there's one every couple of miles  [wall]

And the A5 after you get off the M54 heading to Mallory is the same.

Got back last night from a run to Cambridgeshire and the A14 has heaps of cameras and average speed ones too  :-( [wall]

I read somewhere that a significant amount of 'less than honest' road users were registering their vehicles at a maildrop address, and tax and insuring them at the same address, so the anpr cameras never get a hit.  The owner then uses the vehicle and picks up their mail every so often to see if there's a NIP in the air.  Once there's a few against the numberplate, sell the vehicle and replace it with another, registered at the same address.  This eliminates the problems of false plates, you don't know if, or how often, you've been flashed, and can't risk getting a tug from a patrol car/bike.  It also leaves no paper trail if you pay the maildrop address by cash.

This is seems a surprisingly simple way of hitting back at all this technology they like to throw at us.  By employing a small scally to collect your mail you avoid the 'unmarked car' watching the premises as well.   Maybe I watch too many films.

problem is unless you are loaded you aint going to be able to do this unless you drive a crap car ... I for one would be able to pay cash for my car...

Plus the police can do a voters role check on your name and they will find you anyway.... You can't get away with it no matter what ....... Plate cloning is going to be the only way to get around it... and is you get caught its fraud and can get I think 10 years if I remember rightly
