well after completing about 150 miles on the new tyres noticed yesterday after a good wash I have a piece of metal in the front tyre,  :crybaby2:

dilemma, do I pull it out and see if it goes down, not sure how deep it is it could only be on the surface, done the old spit test over the metal no bubbles appear, but I do use the slime in my wheels so not quite sure. checked pressure,s all seem ok.

been quoted £195 fitted, bit steep I think.

Agree pull it out could be very nasty if it fails at speed.

Shop around for tyres as that price for a front is ridiculous.

I wouldn't pay more than £120 FITTED tops.

They are Supercorsa, S/C 1 front I think it is, the price is from my local dealer, they have been good to me over the years but they now have the hump because I had bits done to my bike at RJS, needless to say I won't be paying there £195 forcing me to go elsewhere,  [rofl]

i'd pull it out if it goes down then just get it repaired. I've had 2 punctures on nearly new tyres and had them both repaired with no problems.

one thing I would never do is get a tyre plugged like yourself and many others they do and are fine, I would always have that doubt in the back of my mind when pushing on, I have had a tyre replaced after 30 miles before,  [wall]

might take it to Rob and let him sort it out later.  :icon_thumright:

Well you never know, took it to Rob and he said he would plug it as well, it was only a little tac that got inserted so I had it plugged, dam site cheaper than £195 lol  :icon_thumright:
