Oh - and abuse? No - a statement. If you think those figures are ever going to stack up then a muppet you are - but hey, its your money  :pottytrain2:

196 on a Gen3 does make me giggle.

& iv seen shakeys 2014 dyno figures 220, theres a gen4 at the start of this thread thats 190, chappos if i remember correctly was 194 on Russes, The gen3 engine im refering to is a +2mm bore with JE HC pistons flowed head with slash cut valve guides with +1mm valves, lightened balanced & edged crank balanced rods it made that power with standard depth head gasket non decked head and the kent cams were just about at stock numbers, all the shell bearings were new as the bore was so now with 500miles 0.45mm gasket & 0.2 head shave with the cam numbers around 110-108 it will certainly be 200+.  It was 169 on the wheel stock on the same dyno that it gave 196.

It's even possible to squeeze over 190bhp out of a gen 1 motor whilst still maintaining reliability. Mines got 181.4 at the wheel, but getting the last few horses out of it just isn't worth the money.
