New guy still without zx10r

Hi all.  I just joined with intentions of getting zx10r over winter.  I'm currently riding 03 z1000 which I really like but always was curious about zx10's... So I Put my zed up for sale and hope to pick up 04-05 zx10  over the winter.

I live in Breaston just of the junction 25 M1 do not far from Donington park where I'm planing to take my new bike once I tame the beast

You won't be sorry, I had a 2004 Z1000 which I sold for my 2010 ZX10R.   :-S

Cheers guys. I'm a bit torn right now  I really like the look of 06-07 zx10 but I like the fact that first gen is the mental one... Any pros and cons between those two apart from  what everyone says online that gen2 is more settled and rider friendly

When you're ready and the weather's drier - take a test ride on both and see which one ya fancy.

Welcome aboard mate. You will love the bike. Abit twitchy with a great midrange. Ive had no problems with mine except trying to tame it around a track but very fun. Anyways hope you find the right bike

Cheers guys.  I'm going to see gen1 on Saturday and gen3 on Sunday and hoping in decent weather so I can take them both for spin.. I'll keep you updated... Cheers

welcome mate. I had a 03 z1000 too before I got my zx10r. I even made my 10 look like my old z  :lol:
