My 2014 ZX10R
« on: August 25, 2014, 07:13:53 PM »

Hi Guys
Thought I would finally post up my bikes. The Zx10r is a work in progress but so far has : BST carbon wheels, full Akrapovic evolution system, woolich tuned ecu ( ignition maps, top speed limiter etc), pc5 for fueling, evotech- levers, rad guard, bobbins, crash bungs, tail tidy, exhaust hanger and foot peg blank. Gilles rearsets, chain adjusters and lifters, PFM brake kit upfront and hel line rear, Kawasaki seat cowl and ventursheild, zero gravity screen, hm shifter. Currently running 180bhp on my dyno but still very tight with 800 miles on it.
Next planned mods are ohlins front and rear and motor apart to be super finished and ported.

My other project bike is my bandit 1200, mods so far, jackup kit, renthals, braided lines and a turbo along with lock up clutch kit, lots more planned but to many customers bikes to finish first, currently running 202bhp.

Slowly but surely coming together mate :-P As for the BHP bragging rights I can think of a dyno or 2 that would give an indicated 200 or there abouts haha where I expect yours is realistic [clap]

Yea your right there, definably some much higher reading dynos about but the number don't mean a thing its the improvement that counts, although high numbers are always nice :)

They both look good, but liking the Bandit a lot.  What do you use that for?  To me, it looks like an ideal candidate for a 6" over swing arm and taking to the drag strip :)  My Gen 3 had 164bhp on the dyno, so 180 sounds good to me.  My 164bhp was giving 143mph terminal speed on the 1/4 mile, so yours should be good for high 140's (can you tell I am a drag racer?)

There both street bikes and an advert for my business, the crazy thing is the bandit makes more power than my 10 but also 10 times harder to hold onto above 100.

Not sure why but the photos are not showing and its the same in the majority of the posts.

There is the odd photo here and there but the majority which people have commented are not displaying for me.

Anybody else experiencing the same or have any suggestions to the possible cause ?
