Well survived track day! but didn't survive trip home!!!
« on: May 19, 2007, 06:11:53 PM »

Well yesterday was a resounding success, good day by all......................got within 1 mile off my house when filtering past stationary traffic car sneeks through traffic at T-junction and yours truley was there to stop him!! If it was a Gymnastics vaulting comp I'd off got 9.5! cleared bonnet full somersault and ladded falt on my back. Not on mark to leathers, just trashed helmet.

Thought all the damage was superficial to bike but on closer inspection and the help off my 2 muppets (Keiron and Mikey Beamish) have discovered left hand side off frame by engine mounting point weld is split and subframe is twisted too. So look like bike will be Insurance right off.

On better note recieved phone call this afternoon from other parties Insurance company, driver has admitted full liability.

Now I know Glenn is worried about me as the rest off you are! but don't just a stiff neck and few bruises.......enough to keep me off work for a week. Meeting my lawyer Mon afternoon, so we can get ball rolling for Compo "Bring on the Money................" So what toys will new bike have??

Right here are a few pic's:

glad to hear that you are ok fella and that they have admitted liability  :headbang: which often isn't the case, when I got flattened a few years back the fucker wouldn't accept liability until the court hearing date in a 100% it was his fault (I was stationary at the time on my side of the road   )

so you've now got a dedicated track bike  :icon_thumright:

Keiron can probably give so mod advice  [whistle] [whistle]  [rofl]

Good to hear that your ok mate and that it looks like the bike cash could come through quite soon if they've admitted liability  :icon_thumright:

Compo may take a while longer but should be worth the hassle for it.
