Newbie from South Africa
« on: August 12, 2014, 02:18:10 PM »

Hi all,
My name is Andre and I hail from Johannesburg in South Africa. I purchased a beautiful 2006 Kawasaki ZX10R in the beginning of April this year and I'm loving every minute I ride her. She is stock standard engine wise and just has a sweet gp style arata pipe which turns heads wherever she goes. Well thats my story in a nutshell. Below are some pics of when I first got her, she has been a little bit destickered as I'm not a big fan of stickers.

My son

Cheers
Andre

Thanks very much! No it's not a standard colour here. The bike was previously in an accident (fortunately all cosmetic damage). The previous owner then imported this fairing set off of the UK ebay site. He tried to get the West Mclaren one but it was out of stock so he settled on this one, same colour scheme just doesn't have the West graphics.

Thanks everyone!  @TinRibs - It is very loud and very addictive. I just want to twist the throttle wide open to hear the roar all the time:lol:

Thanks very much irish-zx10r :icon_thumleft: You'll enjoy SA, beautiful country and some decent roads
@michael4012 - Thanks very much!!  :icon_thumright:Speed limits are 120km/h on highways and 60km/h in built up areas and then 80-100km/h in urban areas...so all in all 120km/h is the highest.
