I own a 04 10r and same im starting to get bored on road riding but been on track a few times. Very exciting but very scary to if u push it. Maddog wud u ever go back to road riding or very happy with decision. As for the new Zx10r ive heard there very stable and as good as any bike out there on track with a good setup
MontyD:
I would never go back to the road on a sports bike now!
A trackday pal of mine has a 2012 with upgraded forks and shock and its bloody awesome!! Always looks very stable and drives amazingly off the corners but took a bit of trial and error with the setup to get there. He was always good on the brakes but on his 10 it stays in line and looks like he ain't trying but he says if it starts to move at the back he can just ease off a tiny bit or dump a gear off and it pulls back in line.
Best bike he ever had!
Pitbull:

I totally agree that road riding is boring especially with the state of the roads. Track is the place to be for the buzz that you cant get on roads.
Ive brought Marks 2007 PSG-1 bike as a road bike but its pimped up big time so its more of a quick blat, park up and let people look at it B-)
Didnt MC101 race the 2012 ZX10 in BSB?
MontyD:
Ohlins full forks and a Ktech shock.....just one off when they put the shock in as it was setup completely wrong, been mint since he had it tweaked based on what Ktech told him for a base setting.
Changed the shock cos he was struggling with tyres wear, could get thebikefeerling great but cooked the tyres, or manage the tyres but bike felt wrong....shock sorted it now.
