Pitbull:
I've been doing track days for the last two years on a cbr600rr and think its time to get a new bike. I've also got a 2012 zx10r thats only done 5600 miles in show room condition that I bought brand new do I sell it and lose money on it or do a put it on the track? I've never had it on the track but any advice given will be taken on board

sinewave:
Sell the CBR600 then use the proceeds to buy the ZX some Ohlins, HM Quickshifter, GB Crash protection, Race Fairings, Brembo's, PCV etc etc   :glasses9:

Pitbull:
It's got the hm quickshifter fitted and the gpr fitted case protectors and crash protectors. But your reply doesn't help me. Wot is the 2012 model like on the track. IE is it forgiving is it stable or is it a bitch to stay on it

maddog:
Hmmm....theres a few choices!

I use my 2005 zx10 on track and ive never had an issue despite it having a beast reputation so i reckon the 2012 will be just as good and easy to ride with the new tech on it. Ive now got the 04 as a track only bike

Can you not sell the CBR and get some track body for the zx10 and a trailer and use the 10 for both?

It all depends on what you want really.

Pitbull:
I've got a van matey. But I've lost all intrest to ride on the road now. It's just some people say the zx10r are abit of a beast on the track. I am just getting some feed back to see witch way Iam going to go with this. But love to hear from some one that running a 2012 on the track at this present time. But thanks for your feed back matey
