Hi all
My name's Woz I'm from Nottingham I picked up my zx10r last wk but only got chance to take it out yesterday and all I can say is wow. Done 25miles on the clock and wanted to do a filter and oil change, can anyone suggest an oil? I've also been advised not to use synthetic oil for the first 1500 miles has anyone got any experience with doing this and how it has worked out for them? If I'm not to use synthetic oil then is semi ok to use or is it best to use just normal? Thanks

Welcome!

A filter/oil change after 25 miles is a bit overkill? With new bikes doesn't the first service come as part of the price?

Welcome aboard Wozza  :hello2:
I wouldn't have thought your bike would require an oil/filter change just yet mate.
I tend to use Fuchs Silkolene Comp4 S/S on my bike with no issues at all.
