My 'ultimate' gen1 zx10r project
« on: June 10, 2015, 09:42:54 PM »

I've introduced myself but now thought I should show everyone my bike!
It's an ongoing project which I was lucky enough to buy as already well specced and once featured in MCN.
I've just ordered new plain carbon fibre fairings to put it back to how it was when featured (and save a few more grams on paint!) The mod list is huge, when I've got more time I'll list everything but for now, here's some pics...

What discs are you going for? I like the look of their t drive discs, mine are within limits but have got a fair bit of play at the rivets!

Nice bike. Well done.

In the pics, do you have black engine covers on or are the standard engine covers painted black?

What are your future plans?

I've listed my future plans! The clutch cover is painted black, I've got heavy duty woodcraft engine covers but I'm trying to get the bike to 150kg so I'm putting the standard magnesium covers on, they're much lighter...

Cheers! New carbon fairings arrive next week so the green carbon kit and tank need a new home to go to!
