Do you lay your bike to rest over the winter....?

<< < (2/9) > >>

Rossi:
After running an R1 through last winter

I spent ages trying to keep on top of cleaning it etc, but it still looked well used

Plus a had quite a few scary moments on my daily commute

I now use my ER-5 in the bad weather, the ZX10R only comes out on un-salted roads  B-)

It's a lot easier to clean and maintain

GRNINJA:
jees rossi thats some heavy snow

Andy J:
same for me salt = no ride...that's when the Husky makes an appearance  :icon_thumright:

Rossi:
I know, tell me about it

I commute 25 mile each way of which 90% is on national speed limit country roads. It's brilliant when the weather is nice, but it also means that my route isn't gritted in winter. I had quite a few scary moments on the R1
