Anyone know of anyone who could sort out what I think is a blown resistor in my led rear light....the right hand indicator function flashes too quick so need to get it sorted....am in the kent area

Is it the tail/brake light that's the problem or the indicator?

It's one of those all in one jobs....everything works fine apart from the right hand indicator function left is ok as are tail and brake functions I guess it's an issue with a resistor but I know nothing about electrics

If I remember rightly the integrated tail lights only tend to have a single positive wire connection for each indicator. Normally when fitting a resistor to correct a flash rate on an LED indicator it is fitted in parallel, bridging the positive and earth wires. I'm not sure if bridging the + and earth on the OE loom before the single wire connection would have the same effect as a two wire set-up but I don't see why it wouldn't 

Resistors are readily available to buy and usually pretty cheap. Failing that, a replacement tail light unit may be the only option.

But as it was working fine then started flashing fast.....and the left indicator is fine does that not follow that it must have two and one has failed? I know nothing bout electrics at all hence probably taking it to an auto electrician is safest option for me!!

yes there would most likely be two resistors (one for each side) and one has probably packed up. The trouble with the integrated lights is everything is sealed in internally so I would have thought repairing it isn't an option. Adding an external resistor might work, then again it might not I cant be 100% sure.

Hopefully you get it sorted for minimal cost
