That's exactly what I was thinking, the C1H had a yellow R and the C2H a red R on the tail unit. It may be a C1H on a 55 plate, the only way to be sure is have a look on the log book, or check the chassis number.

Doesn't stop it from being a top bike though. To Ben10 I'd say if you think its the best bike you've ever had then why change it. I had an 05 from new and sold it after 3 years thinking something newer meant better. I regretted that decision hugely which is why I went back to an 05 model 2 years ago and can honestly say I never ever want to sell it.

Very well spotted the pair of you. It was something I noticed as well when I first got it. The previous owner had a bit of a 'black and gold' theme going on when I bought it including rim tape and all sorts. Wasn't my cup of tea so changed it all except the rear sticker. Didn't mind it too much as it's more of a mattalic gold.

The log book confirms however that it is a C2h model.

Thanks GRNINJA it is very clean example. A lot of people compliment it.

I dare say I will regret selling it NinjaPaul. It's not been an easy decision. It really is a great bike. I think I'm grown up enough now to try something different. Maybe a ducati with the v twin or even an R1 Big Bang. Something that is slightly different to the usual inline 4 jap bikes I've always had. The gamble is that if I don't like them and decide I want to go back to a 10r I don't think I'll be able to find one like this again.

We'll see. If the bike doesn't get much interest then maybe I'll just keep it but for now I'm going with, "variety is the spice of life" and "he who dares wins" and all of those cheesey lines.

Wish me luck.

Thanks for the compliments Andy. I very well may be on her in a year or so with my tale between my legs!

It does seem a little quiet out there as I haven't had a single offer yet. I maybe priced it at summer prices but it was mainly cos I was expected daft offers to come in but haven't even had one of them.

On the flip side it's had well over 200 views in the first 2 days on eBay and it's got a load of watchers. Who knows.

To be honest the longer I have it up for sale then the more I'm tempted to keep the little gem. So I'm not too worried either way.
