Kawasaki race kit camchain tensioner, suit 06-10 ZX10R

Brand new in bag, bought two but I only need one. This may fit other models, but the part number is different so you'll need to find out for yourself.

AUD 150 (approximately GBP 82) plus postage.

Sorry Lee, I typed it last night, but must have managed to delete it prior to sending ... d'oh !!!

According to the kit manual, its to 'decrease the flutter of tensioner'. I understand this to mean that the OEM tensioner can sometimes back off under high rpm work, leading to variations in camchain tension and therefore cam timing.

These have been a feature in Kawasaki racekit parts catalogues for many years, in fact I had one in my old ZXR750 superbike - different look, but identical function.

All-up cost, AUD 170 posted to the UK.

If this is a mod that can be fitted without engine removal or strip down I'm interested if its not taken yet.

Michael, it is indeed something you can bolt on without removing the engine or pulling it apart. Will come back to you if for some reason Lee doesn't end up taking it.
