Hello from wolverhampton, west midlands
« on: October 04, 2013, 11:13:12 AM »

hi, my names jamie i have just brought myself a zx10r e8f in orange. Its my first fuel injected bike so its a massive change for me but i'm enjoying getting to know the bike.
Any common faults i should look out for? or easy ways to improve the bike would be good.

cheers  :icon_thumright:

Welcome,

Just check its have the recall done on the rectifier unit (I think) that's what it was.
Think it was the connector block under the tank which suffers from corrosion issues
I stand to be corrected, but that's my understanding of the fault

Welcome,

As above, ensure the rectifier recall has been done. Apart from that put fuel in, turn the key, kick it into gear, twist the throttle and ENJOY!

Welcome  :hello2:

You'll want to get the suspension sorted at some stage, especially if you do track days. Apart from that, she's good to go  :headbang:

Is there a stamp in the rear of the service book, 'if' its been serviced by Kawasaki
Or like you say call Kawasaki and they may answer the question for you  :icon_thumleft:
