Hi again chaps
had some parts arrive this week so going to crack on over the weekend
After doing some research into what exhaust works best, and best value for money etc, I decided in the end to follow the advice of some people in the know and not to just go with what has a nice sticker.
So the stock headers are now off the bike and on the way to MHP to be balanced, and matched upto to one of his Ti link pipes and silencers.

When they arrive back with me i'll post some pics of what has been done to them,
In the meantime, as the headers are off, I may aswell give the engine a little clean and fit the new rad hoses that sit behind the headers as its its a little tight for working space.

and before you all say it, I didn't want green!

anytime dude, I love building the bikes just as much as riding.

Not got much done today.
Finished cleaning the engine, TBH it wasn't that dirty, it just had some road film and the odd bit of chain lube around the sprockets, and around the swingarm and shock linkage.

Next up, removed the oem shock,  the difference between the 2 is night and day and shows just how much work k-tech put into their design and quality

So now the old shock is out, all the linkages, swingarm, pivots etc have been cleaned and re fitted

Fitting the new shock is a complete doddle, as are most, but due to the way the shock is mounted there is nothing in way.
I've left the ride height as it is until I know what I should be setting it too, and even then its only a case of lifting the tank the adjust the ride height.

Gonna get some more bits done on Monday, so will report back then

Thanks again for the comments and interest

Thanks Tim

just waiting on the exhaust system to arrive, then I can finish off the hoses, mount the headers, rad back on etc..

then after that, its move onto the front end, forks, clip ons, levers, brakes etc
