And in that respect they did a great job! No damage to the engine casings, frame or subframe! Never really liked them until now as they spoil the look of the bike but they've changed my mind for me!!

Gutted for you mate. I done same thing a few months ago wih my zed 1000. I dropped that doing about 10 mph and caused over a grands worth of damage :( heart breaking stuff
