Ive got 2004 zx10r, my front caliper bolts are stuck on, i have managed to remove the bottom bolts on the left and the right caliper but the top bolts on each caliper are still stuck. I have tried alsorts, heat, different bit's to fit, larger bits and allen keys etc and now the bolt heads are pretty knackered and still stuck.
So does any one know if you can remove the back of the caliper without needing to remove the brake line because here's my plan.
Remove the backs (or insides) of the calipers ( 3 star bolts) so that the wheel can drop between the calipers and be removed. Then remove the bottom bolt which i managed to get out of each caliper so only the stuck top one's are in. Then turn the caliper with the stuck bolt anti-clock wise so it unscrews the whole thing and see if it frees the bolts.
What do you think??   * Please tell me can i just take the inside back of the calipers apart or will brake fluid come out so i would need to bleed this out first... let me know please...cheers

Take it to a good garage and don't risk fookin em up!  I rounded mine off and RJS got em out in 5 mins with no damage to bike or caliper.  Then refit using 08 CBR hex head bolts so it don't happen again.

Jack the bike up and drop the forks, then you can remove the wheel and work on each fork leg at a civilised height on a bench.  Personally I'd Dremel the heads off and bin the calipers, fit Nissin, Brembo or Honda monoblocs and enjoy better braking.
