So i crashed my zx10r 2004 model, a low speed low side, but the slide wore through the right hand ignition cover and sheered off the bottom righthand exposed bolt which pokes through the bellypan. (well done kawasaki great design) So i had to drill out the old bolt, i bought a NRC racing cover and fitted a new bigger bolt into the drilled out hole, but because its not got a proper thread that the new bolt is tapping into its not as tight as the rest of the bolts, i don't want to over tighten it incase the head comes off and i'll be knackered but its leaking a bit of oil when the bike is riden. Ive changed the gasket, used instant gasket around it but it still leaks.... I'm thinking can i solder it over with a soldering iron and solder or do you have any other ideas that could help.
