any recomendations? nothing too pricey just a decent brand / tread combo please and any links to buy online?

Hmm, living in the North West we get lots of the wet stuff so I've always opted for the Michelin Pilot Road 3's
(google "michelin pilot road 3 reviews") and been very happy.  In fact there's a fair few of us now who've opted for these with no complaints. Saying that, my new 10 has Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2's and they seem okay, but I will probably go back to the Mickeys as soon as they've worn.
