i put engine ice in my 10 around 5 years ago when i fitted samco green hoses, ever since i started loosing coolant alittle after each ride but because i only do about 1500-2000 miles ayear i just kept topping it up,i changed over to putoline ice two years later and its still happened..
i checked every samco hose clip around 5 times over the years and all was fine with no sign of a leak anywhere on the bike,i even changed the coolant many times to make sure there was no air trapped ect. :?: :?:

i done a full service on it 8 weeks ago using rock oil blue coolant and toped it up to the full mark and done a 200mile ride, when it cooled it had droped to the low mark(could be air after the coolant change?)so i topped it up and thought f*ck it im having it looked at!!!

booked it in at tim blakemore racing and tim has done every test possible, block leak down test, coolant pressure test, full inspection of all hoses while on the dyno with bodywork off and cant find athing wrong, hes done me a new custom map and in 3 hours on the dyno the coolant has not dropped atall.. now is that because i used ''normal'' coolant and it was this fancy coolant that was evaporating all the time?? its good to know my head gasket aint the cause if nothing else.

(ive never had any running issues throughout and im running the r+g race frame bobbins that uses the r+g supplied water bottle if that helps?)

cheers

The 10 is known for "losing" coolant.
Kwack don't recommend topping it up to the max mark because they run warm so will lose coolant and settle back at the min mark.

Mine hasn't moved from the Max in almost 2 years, using RockOil Kool.
