Thinking of a little paintwork
« on: May 11, 2007, 12:23:55 AM »

I'm thinking of getting the tail unit of my bike sprayed black.

I've done a hack job with Photoshop to see what it would look like but I'm not sure.

What do you guys think?

Was thinking that I'd leave the belly pan as it is and spray the seat unit as gloss black.

nah, whilst it does sit well with the bellypan I wouldn't do it fella, but it's all about personal choice isn't it, afterall I've got pink wheels  :drunken_smilie:

I'd leave it or maybe do the tank and fairing black too  [whistle]

Well it's a start, but why stop at the seat unit, why not continue on & do the tank & fairing too ?   Come on you now you wanna, blacks where it's at baby !   :headbang:

Really not sure about it mate, if you go gloss I think it'll make the rest look scruffy and matt is probably too flat, what about rather than doing the whole seat unit just doing a contrast section to bring the black to the back ?

The more I look at it the more I dislike it, so thanks for all your valued opinions but I'm gonna kick it into touch for now.

Cheers guys  :icon_thumright:
