Over the last 2-3 years RG500 prices have probably gone up quicker than house ones !   In fact I'd guess there's probably a link between the 2 -with the boom in house values, folks are probably freeing up a bit of equity in their houses when it comes to remortgaging time & using it to buy those toys they really wanted but couldn't afford 20 odd years ago !

Even the 10R coming on song, doesn't give the same headrush as a sorted Gamma hitting the powerband & they sound awsome as well.  Handling when pushed is err, somewhat interesting though   hardly surprising when you check out the ally box section the  frame's made out of - health & safety probably wouldn't let you use that for coffee table legs these days let alone a bike !   Of course you can always stick the motor in an RG250 / Prilly RS250 frame, or for the true connoisseur  there's always the Spondon option.

Then there's always the storker smell,  I guess it's a bit like Marmite, if you're one of the lucky ones you'll love it   :icon_thumleft:  otherwise it'll make no sense to you whatsoever !

Oh & Horse, re the KH400, again lovely bikes, but from what I've heard, pistons & rings for them are virtually impossible to come by anymore so tell your mate to use some decent oil in it !
