How do they compare the zx10 anyone had one ?

Great bikes but not with that colour scheme, stickers and gold rearsets need to be lost as well. Fido's is much more tasteful

ive got a all singing all dancing gixer k4 which was full carbon fibred and ex bsb spec she is awsome shes now been demoted to the track as she spent most of the time sliding or wheelieing lol
 i loved it but compared to the ten shes a bit tame believe it or not?
The ten has a lot more midrange and being a short wheel base very 2 strokie and quick in direction change where the gixer being a big muscly fella i ended up muscling to make the turns than letting it flow like the ten does ???only bad thing i find on the ten is the brakes are shocking

to be fair i would my gixer is fxxxing quick but the ten just leaps out of the bend, i cant wait to compare times from my home to m and p in oxford it will interesting my record is 10-13 mins average 150mph im expecting 9- 11 mins on the ten to be fair ? i rode grninga's up there a few years ago and it was balistic so cant wait to try my ten on a nice dry day ??i did have to alter the bars though to make them wider to stop the head shake the ten has (as i aint got a steering damper) this seems to help and aids in cornering and braking
result i think the ten will be quicker
   plus my tens only done 7,000 miles
so its nice and tight lol

A first gen 10 Is not a better bike than any 05 onwards Gixer, only a biased fool would say otherwise

wasnt being bias was saying compared to my k4 gixer its a different beast totaly i think the ten is a better bike,
ive rode a k6 and it didnt exactly light my world up my ten compared to my gixer is my ten has lots of midrange where the gixer feels like a stroker i have to have it singing but then she is highly modded and is mainly track orientated  yoshi cams slipper clutch blue printed engine yosh boxed yoshi full system?
so everything is after 6/7 thou so to get the jump on anyone i have to drop a gear and rev it ??plus on a point the k4 was called the cadilac of the gixers and it has to be muscled rather than turn freely ??
but on track shes in a league of  its own

but i do like my ten on the road no hassle good torque  tips in nice smooth responsive only thing she does want to shake or nod its head
was just giving my opinion and on the road id keep the ten

Good effort that's only 6 secs slower than the fastest motogp wet race lap set by Hayden in 2011
