I have a green 2006 zx10r, 17000 miles. Years mot. Power commander 3. Genuine kawasaki double bubble and single seatvcowl + standard parts. Datatool sc4 alarm and fobs and install paperwork. The bike has been very well maintained by myself since 3k. Recent genuine kawasaki front pads,spark plugs,brake fluids,engine oil and filter. Very good condition.

I am only thinking of selling as i fancy a newer one

i havent seen any other barras for 3.5k though.

Depends on time of year too. You'll probably get almost a grand more for it in June than you would in December. I'd still pay 5k for my d7, but it's as clean as when it came out of the crate, and only 7k with fksh up to 6k.

Going by fleabay and the like i should be aiming for at least 4k

Dealer price for a D7F is around the 5.5 mark, so private sale for a good D6F is 4-4.5k with goodies.

I think i'll sell it with the akkies and pc3 and go around those figures. Then plough a couple of grand into the equation and get an 09/10 tenR.
