I've got a 3 year old daughter and a 10 week old son. I should be excited for them, but I work for the NHS in theatres. So I'll be at work on Christmas Day then :(

Not the same out here, Spain, the MAIN day is 3 Kings (3 wise men) day.

5th Jan is celebration of the day the Three Wise Men arrived in Bethlemem and morning of 6th is day kids open presents.

Every day is a school day !

My living room looks like santa's grotto, kids love it every day until Xmas day and beyond (till the new year any way) they really live the Xmas spirit.

That's all that matters in my book.

That makes more sense, to celebrate the giving of the gifts instead of the day he was born.

This Christmas,

May your troubles be less,

And your blessings be more,

And nothing but happiness,

Come through your door.
