Pointless rant aside, if there is no reversal of our failing systems, no stopping of our endless handouts to those who could work if they bothered themselves, (should, heaven forbid the job market pick up to allow the genuine thousands who are looking for work to earn an honest living, I count my blessings), and we rid ourselves of the shockingly selfish attitude our society has developed, we are in trouble as a nation. I grew up in a council house, my mum still lives in a council house, having money doesn't make you a good person, doesn't define you as a person and I know plenty of tossers with money. Its not about the money, sounds like a song..... Money doesn't place buy you in our class system and it doesn't make you a lesser person if you have none. As a nation though we need rich people who own companies and encourage jobs and growth. Those who scorn the rich, wake up, they feed the capitalist society that the younger TOWIE generation seem to crave. Seriously we need to grip the welfare system (pleased to see we are ending aid to India, lots of poverty no doubt but they are also a space programmed, nuclear armed country, charity begins at home..) and we need to be heartless and practical about reducing population both nationally and internationally - planet earth can only sustain so many of us and whilst we have starving and orphaned kids, why are we making more. So I am actually of sound mind.....don't like scroungers but do support a system to look after the genuine needy once we have helped ourselves first. Hard work should be rewarded and the hand outs need to stop.
