My 10r had Gilles adjustable clipons when I got it, tried it for a few weeks but couldn't wait to get them off and put the original ones back on. The Gilles weren't any lighter either.

why could you not get on with them ,i,m the person who brought these,s ,i,v not yet fitted these.

I just couldn't adjust them so they felt 'right'. Every ride out, the bike felt different, and never in a way that was comfortable. So as I had the original ones, I put them on, and when I sat on the bike, they just felt right. Hands, wrists, arms, they all sit in a natural position. Not sure why I couldn't achieve it with the Gilles.

i got them on my monster powered gixer and they helped loads with widening the bars so i can control the slap of its head when she goes berserk otherwise turning is a little fun though lol

how can u judge me or my riding style,brought these for less of a reach to the bars donut,sounds like your new to bike,s and you think you know everything about them?not.

I was going to buy these, changed my mind after i read a few comments on how they were hard to get comfortable with, let us know when you have fitted them and how they feel

I fitted some Gilles Bars on my bike a couple of months ago, not quite as fancy as the ones on the ebay ad above, spent a bit of time setting them up, angle and switch positions, they worked for me.

hi scottyboy,sometimes if the bike don,t fit fit you you have to make the bike fit,nothing worst than being uncomtable,put the bar,s on and by  god awsome fit,lots of minor adjustments can be made,quality piece of kit.just by sitting on the bike i can tell it,s going to be a better ride for me,but not had time to try on a run.regards mick.
