Same here, which has influenced what I'm tyres I'm getting when the bikes in for a service next month.

Have used 2CTs on big Kawas before, good all round tyre. As said you can do a lot worse than stick with them. Me, I'm prepared to trade a little balls-out dry grip (that I never use) for better performance in torrential downpours and a faster warm up, so gonna try Pilot Road 3s next on the basis it'll suit my usage better. The dry grip will still be more than I'm capable of using

I'd stick with the 2ct's I found them a great road tyre in most circumstances, but  once tried some Avon storm ultras which had unbelievale grip in the wet giving great confidence in most conditions, great milage also, only when you really started to push in the dry did they show up their limits

I guess it depends how and where you ride. I've always favoured Bridgestone, found Dunlop puncture too easily and lack feedback you can rely upon. Lots of racers I know have, after years of nagging, persuaded me only Pirelli Diablo rosso corsas, and so far, they feel impregnated with superglue. Speak to most racers or fast road riders, and they all swear by Pirelli.

For all year round use? Without question Bridgestone BT023's. I use em in all weathers at all speeds including the Nurburgring. Theres some good video reviews out there from when Ron Haslam tested em on his race school bikes too which make interesting watching :icon_thumleft:
