gutted for ya mate, seeing the bike in such a sorry state  :-( thankfully you didnt come away seriously injured though.

To reiterate whats already been said, keep records of everything that happened both at the time and since, no matter how trivial something might seem it could be important later. Apparently the guy who does the legal stuff for MCN (Andrew Campbell I think he's called) is supposed to be pretty good. Just remember you're not obliged to go with the lawyers your insurance appoints to handle the case.  :icon_thumleft:

Good luck getting things sorted  :icon_thumleft:

I know exactly how you feel a very similar thing happened to me at easter with some nob end turning right at traffic lights directly accross my right of way. He admitted liability at scene bloke was still a cok, The insurance company on the other hand is still fighting it out. Hope yours settles faster than mine. :crybaby2:

Well, that would be the plan but the assessment company have informed me that it is a Total loss write off that is not allowed to go back into the public domain so I am unable to purchase the bike back in order to break it and sell the bits.  I have been told that as long as I have replacements or original parts I can go down there and swap some of the good bits over.

Bad news all round, at least you are ok and now broken bones.  Hope you get a good result from the insurance.
