UPDATE

I had no email response from Avon so today i took the phone number to work with me and i phoned them up. I got put through to a really nice bloke called Ken Tucker that listened to the problem and said he would speak to the head of customer services called Paul and see what mileage they would expect out of one of these tyres and get back to me later in the day.
He phoned me back a couple of hours later and said they had found my email and checked the pics out and from what they could see from the pics that the mileage ive got was as expected due to my riding style
He said that in a good will gesture that they would offer me a free rear Avon viper sport that would be more suitable for getting better mileage on the road. He said if i was happy with that
I said thanks very much for your help and im very happy with the offer of the free rear.
He was a great bloke and he seemed genuinely sorry about the whole thing and seemed that he couldnt do enough to help me out. I told him id got a track day booked for friday and he said he would have the tyre with me on Monday at my work at the latest
The tyres may not last the longest but the customer service seems second to none. I wouldnt expect someone like pirreli or michelin to of been like that.
